Reelin' In The Years
This high energy collection of Australian songs and tunes highlights the range of skills and musical influences of the band. From the opening set of reels, Merry Blacksmith you’ll be swept along by the infectious feel of this album. Classic songs like Maggie May, Lime Juice Tub and Lazy Harry’s capture the Australian tradition, whilst Brown Eyed Girl, Mark Knopfler’s Romeo and Juliet and the Redgum song Diamantina Drover bring a contemporary flavour. Reeling In The Years is rich in the folk sounds of whistle, flute, fiddle, guitar and mandolin and the fine vocals of Jeff Debnam. There’s something here for anyone who wants to know what Australian music is all about.

Leaving Today
This album has a reflective and lyrical quality which draws on the contemporary Irish folk sound as exemplified in the songs Black Is The Colour and Clare To Here. Lead vocals are shared by Jeff Debnam and Kathy Bluff and the two singers feature in a beautiful duet on the Irish song Sonny. The title track, Leaving Today is an original by Kathy which has a country flavour defined by some beautiful mandolin playing from Pete. Country chops are also on display in the bluegrass fiddle classic Orange Blossom Special. There’s lots of great saxophone and guitar to enjoy, particularly in the rocking version of Waltzing Matilda which brings the album to its lively conclusion.
